Crittery Exotics

Crittery Exotics is an exotic pet resource website providing information on common and exotic rodents and small mammals such as African Pygmy Mice, African Pygmy Dormice, Fancy Mice, Harvest Mice, Mongolian Gerbils, Mouse-like Hamsters, Southern Flying Squirrels, Steppe Lemmings and Zebra Mice amongst many others.

Crittery was setup in 2007 to give a central resource point to help counteract the misinformation about common rodents and the lack of information about more exotic pets. Many sections of this site are peer reviewed and all are based on extensive research and personal experience. It is used as a learning tool by multiple UK colleges running animal care courses.

Christine's own animals include a colony of southern flying squirrels, a long eared hedgehog and mouse-like hamsters. She also has animals taken in via the rescue aspect of Crittery.

Rodent's Nest is a popular forum for pet lovers of small rodents and mammals, developed and maintained by Christine. It is based on the vanilla software, having migrated across from Kunena. It is developed and maintained by Christine.

The Rodents nest has no ads, is free to join, and offers a very supportive and friendly community. New members are always welcome, especially if they can help develop the knowledge base. The Rodents Nest is a natural extension of Crittery, providing a supportive, niche community with social engagement and gamification.
